A REAL LIFE FAIRY TALE

In 1980, a young girl, Trish Kanzler, with no money and no backing, won Best in Show at Westminster with Cinnar, a red Siberian whose ear was bitten off! The story of how she got there - and her incredible bond and journey with Cinnar - will be the first heart-warming movie about the dog show world!

WHICH BREEDS WILL BE FEATURED IN A LITTLE MAGIC...

There's a potential for almost any breed that was competing in 1980 to be featured in many Best In Show competitions that Trish and Cinnar competed in.  For example, the Tibetan Terrier will be featured because he is the producer's dog.  And that's why we offer the REWARD that you and your show dog can be an extra or a featured extra in the movie, and possibly appear in a Best In Show scene.

SIX breeds of dogs were Trish's competitors
in Best In Show at Westminster in 1980.  They are:

   The Gordon Setter.
                        The Greyhound.
                                             The Lakeland Terrier.
                                                                        The Pug.
                                                                                      The Standard Poodle.

And of course, the Siberian Husky.

In 1980 there were 28 breeds that competed against Trish in group. These breed will also be seen several times in the movie:

Great Dane                                                                     Welsh Corgi (Pembroke)

The FIRST positive TRUE STORY about the dog show world!

The film will encourage young people back into the sport!

"Any movie showcasing the wonderful Sport of Purebred Dogs to the public is to be applauded and can only serve to further illustrate the depth of the human canine bond."

Mari-Beth O'Neill, American Kennel Club, VP Sport Services

"For me, as a judge, Cinnar was the first star. Despite being a relative unknown in the dog show circuit at that time he, with his young handler, firmly established his position."

James G. Reynolds, top U.S. and Canadian Judge

A PORTION OF THE FILM'S PROFITS WILL GO TO CHARITY

That's right. In 1993 TAKE THE LEAD was established to provide direct services, support and care for people in the sport of purebred dogs who suffer the devastation of life-threatening or terminal illness. And as Producers involved in this great sport, we want to give back to the people involved with it by supporting Take The Lead with a portion of our profits.
